“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—when you already have it with you”. – Proverbs 3:27-28

The religious congregation of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, runs “Mary’s Shelter,” a place of assistance for women who suffer from domestic violence or are facing adversity in their lives. The sisters help women in the shelter find themselves and integrate back into society after a few days of being in the shelter.

For more information about the shelter, or if you would like to volunteer, please call Sister Roseline 303.860.8040 between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The entrance to the convent and shelter is on 633 Fox Street.
